Kim Carlsson, the master mind behind Hypothermia and vocalist of Lifelover along with a few other projects, is, to my amazement, underrated. He seems to be overlooked greatly and is only recognized for his works in Lifelover when in fact the emotion put forth in Hypothermia definitely overlooks Lifelover. Kim Carlsson's shrills send chills down my back, his music is DSBM at it's finest, setting tones throughout. The dissonant vocals blended with clean and distorted guitars overlapping simple, slow to mid-paced drumming brings up a melancholic feeling. You can't help resisting the sheer depression that blares through your speakers. This isn't your myspace "depression", this isn't Emo "depression", this is complete hate towards oneself, complete hate towards all that exists, this is self inflicted harm due to the fact that only you can be blamed. It would be wrong to promote suicide when I will never choose this path, but let this be heard when you have come to realize that you are to blame for all harm done to you.
