With a internet connection that fluctuates and provides nothing but annoyances and the cost of living increasing and the amount I am being paid decreasing, it has rendered me unable to purchase many cds. But, having the computer and my cds in my room I have managed to put some of my older music into my computer and re-living the experience that band has given me.
The Dreamside - Spin Moon Magic
Darkwave/Gothic Rock with FEMALE vocals. Female vocals have always been my Achilles' heal, if you manage to fuse operatic vocals with rock elements, chances are I will be enjoying it for quite some time. This album contains songs that are quite good but when they have cheesy lyrics I tend to steer away. Three songs manage to catch my ear frequently and I find myself listening to this band quite often.
Nokturne - B.D.I.
A review was done for this yesterday so just read that.
Nightbringer - Death and the Black Work
A wrote a review for this album quite sometime but I too am lazy to link it for your convenience thus I will just write a short description. The dark and ominous tones are synthesized with furious drum patterns orchestrated with snarls and rasps of a voice from beyond. The musicianship is amazing such tight guitar work serves as an indestructable force. Black metal at it's highest caliber!
